Darryl Teske

Bio...

Darryl was born and raised in Mauston, Wisconsin – graduating from Mauston High School. Darryl earned a Bachelors Degree from University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, with a double major in Psychology and Human Development. He is the first from his family to graduate from a university.

Frustrated by lack of representation and drawn to help the average person, Darryl started volunteering for the Kerry Campaign in Green Bay. His ability and dedication was recognized immediately, and the Democratic Party of Wisconsin hired him to be a Coordinator of Voter Contact. Following the campaign, Darryl returned to UW-GB attaining a political science minor.

He returned closer to home and worked as an unpaid intern in Madison with Representative Tom Nelson. Again respected for ability and dedication, he was quickly promoted into a full time position. After working with Representatives Bobbie Gronemus and Dave Travis, he was promoted to Chief-of-Staff for Representative Sondy Pope-Roberts.

Although Darryl learned much about the state in Green Bay and Madison, he has remained active in the Mauston community. His father is a member of the Mauston Fire Department and also works for Parker-Hannifin. His mother is a fixture at Mauston City Hall, an Administrative Assistant there for more than fifteen years. Darryl enjoys staying active in Mauston: he is a member of the Juneau County Moose Lodge (Chapter 1913) and he and his mother are active in their church community.

Darryl currently lives in Mauston, working to grow a small family business and asking for your support in his effort to help the citizens of the 50th Assembly District.
